Steinar's Post

So after living in Esperanza for a little over 2 months I guess it’s about time with a little feedback on how the Norwegian is doing in the wilderness of Canada. It is pretty wild out here. I have never lived as remotely as this. Here we have bears in the nearby, whales swimming by outside our window, sea-otters, sea-lions and seals. And the list goes on. It is beautiful here. There are so many loving and great people here.  Heidi has come back to “where God lives” ( according to her mother)  and the kids are enjoying the outdoors on a daily basis.

I thought the transitioning from Norway would be bigger than it has been so far. Of course I enjoyed finally going to the grocery store after five weeks in Esperanza last Monday, but strangely enough I don’t really have a problem being away from the city. I have it good here and this is an exciting time for my family and I. I am looking forward to what this chapter in our lives is going to be like. So far it has been good…to be continued...

Glad to hear that you are settling in. You certainly look like a coastal man in your photo!
