This is the front of our new home. Tonight, the rain pours, the wood stove is lit, and the house is fragrant with bread and chocolate chip banana muffins fresh out of the oven. (I'm ashamed to admit that it my first time to bake since moving in!) We are blessed.
All the houses in Esperanza are named, ours happens to be Guest House. I remember it being called Bird House, when I was little, because a family with the last name Bird lived in it. Even though we live in it and it will remain Guest House. We sure do love all of the traffic flowing through our house and past our house. We are located very central to all of the action in Esperanza; it is a good thing we like people!
