Annabelle's Birthday Party

To my delight, I threw a birthday party for Annabelle this year! It was so fun to decorate in all things pink and girlie to commemorate another wonderful year with our little Monkey. Despite the downpour of snow and sickness going around, nine of Annabelle's little friends joined in on the fun to celebrate with us. The variety of pink colored streamers, the handmade birthday banner, matching balloons,  all things sweet, yummy and delicious only reflect a smidgen of my love for our Annabelle. She is such a treasure.

Annabelle eagerly greeted all of her guests as they trickled in one after the other. "HELLO" she piped with enthusiasm. Beaming with excitement to have all of her friends in the house at one time she danced around the room, jumped on the couches, shared her toys with pleasure, ate cake and candy every second she remembered to, opened gifts with enthusiasm--even clapping for joy with gratitude.

Throughout the two hours of play and partying, Annabelle managed to find me from time to time to wrap her arms around me and give me the biggest squeeze of lovin' around my neck that she could. Her love makes my heart melt.

I wish she would let me fix her hair :).

Thank you to all the parents who brought their children for a few hours; you completely blessed our little Annabelle's heart. Thank you for being a part of her happiness.
