Sensitivity Training 101

When you meet a pregnant woman, here are some things you just shouldn't say:

"WOW!!! You're Huge!"
"Are you sure you only have one in there, it looks like two or three."
"You look really tired."
"How does it feel to be packing on the pounds?"
"You're allowed to get fat, you're eating for two."
"You're pregnant, you shouldn't..........."

If you are going to say anything at all, play it safe; don't ask how she's feeling and don't talk about how she looks.

Lastly:
Don't touch, pat, or rub her belly.

I'm guessing that you are being assailed with some of the above comments (the unmentionables) although I can't imagine them being applied to you!

Awww... People can be so rude!! A man in a shop actually poked my belly today, but that's about the worst I've experienced during my pregnancy, and it wasn't even nearly as bad as what you're dealing with.. Hang in there! Almost done!

hahaha well i feel for you, i think wanting to pat or touch the belly is pretty normal. Pregnancy is fascinating to most, especially to those who cant or havent been pregnant. Poor girl, it will be over soon!

Pictures please!!!!! I wanna see this belly of yours! Totally know what you're talking about with those comments...everyone feels they're entitled to touch a pregnant lady and to say anything that's on their mind! How dare they!
