Juliane has opened a very lovely shop in our humble town of Tvedestrand. Her mission is to sell beautiful, fair trade, organic, ethical products. Her shop has handcrafted clothing for women and children, home decore, tea, chocolate, journals, and various other things that are fun the ladies to shop for.
Juliane is extremely creative and has an eye for making everything around her beautiful and cozy. She also has a very charming and rustic guest house on a small island not too far from our town. I had the priviledge of spending my birthday there last year; we slept in the tower adorned with windows on every wall. Not only is her guest house a relaxing place to enjoy some quiet, the food is also amazing. Another of Juliane's gifts: making scrumptions mouth watering food. One thing I've appreciated getting to know about Juliane is that she actualizes her dreams. She is a doer! I love meeting doers! They're so inspiring!
Juliane asked me to bake "American Chocolate Chip Cookies" for people to enjoy while they sit in her shop for a good chat and cup of warm tea. I hope Juliane's shoppers and visitors enjoy them!
